The most popular European singing competition has become a platform where a famous Ukrainian singer, winner of Eurovision-2004 Ruslana Lyzhychko appealed to Europeans. At her solo concert at the Eurovision Village, which took place right before the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, the singer featured KNESS ideological message – “Abilities are here” and appealed to everyone to move on to renewable energy.
Sergii Shakalov, Director General of the group of companies KNESS: “With Ruslana we have a common idea – energy should be safe, affordable and free. In addition to energetic songs, the important message of Ukraine to Europe came from the Eurovision stage: we have an ambitious goal of moving on to 100% of renewable energy. The more people will believe in 100% renewable, will think and act in this direction, the sooner the goal will be achieved.”.
“My activity is not limited to appeals,” Ruslana comments. – I support and take part in the initiative of our partner, the group of companies KNESS, to launch an educational project ABILITIES ARE HERE. If the leader in the construction of solar power plants in Ukraine believes in the possibility of Ukraine’s transition to 100 percent of renewable energy – we have no reason to doubt it is truly real!”.
