Students of the Business School of Vinnytsia Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics visited KNESS

Students from the Business School of VITE SUTE gathered at KNESS to learn how international renewable energy businesses operate. 

Ivan Vekirchyk, co-founder of KNESS, shared the history of the group’s development from the first steps in the energy sector to scaling up in the international arena. He also explained how the group of companies lives today, what goals and plans it has for the coming years, and how it manages to scale.

The statements made by KNESS co-founder Ivan Vekirchyk are useful for a new generation of future leaders to consider:

• An expert team at all levels, new business models, and a forward-looking vision of the industry with investments in innovation are business advantages that enable you to grow and compete.

• For business, the role of communications is crucial. After all, people are emotional and therefore tend to perceive information differently. The ability to find reliable partners for new projects depends on what people say about you or your business. So you need to take care of your business’s reputation at all levels. In particular, artificial intelligence can help in communications. There are already successful cases among well-known brands. 
• In today’s fast-paced world, you need to make decisions as quickly as possible. To do this, you need to always be in context, be aware of news and events, and communicate a lot with people from different fields.

In the second part of the Company Visit, Liya Humeniuk, HR Manager at KNESS, spoke about the corporate culture, mission, and values that guide the KNESS team. In addition, the students visited the dispatch center, which manages power facilities with a total capacity of more than 1 GW.
