More and more Ukrainian facilities are changing their electricity supply approach and switching to carbon-neutral energy during production. This tendency can be caught in various industries. For example, KNESS has already implemented more than 5 MW of solar power plants for facilities operating in the steel industry. And now, we are implementing five solar power plants with a total capacity of more than 6 MW for a food industry enterprise. Electricity from the solar power plants, connected to the internal grid, will compensate for a share of its electricity consumption. Apart from adhering to the principles of sustainable development, this model will also allow the company to reduce its dependence on electricity price fluctuations, which directly affects production cost optimization.
The solar power plants are being implemented under an EPC contract and will be constructed with metal structures made in Ukraine by our company. Our team is currently engaged in design work and construction organization.
