KNESS team has returned from the 5th international exhibition and conference Rebuild Ukraine 2025

The event brought together businesses, communities, government, and investors for a dialogue, serving as a platform for new partnerships and experience sharing for the restoration and modernization of Ukraine’s energy sector and infrastructure. Key stakeholders in the energy and construction industries from more than 30 countries, 160 Ukrainian communities, 300+ speakers, and 700+ exhibitors, including KNESS, presented their expertise, projects, and ideas at the event.

For us, these were two days of active networking and meetings, lively communication with partners and colleagues, discussions of future projects and solutions aimed at accelerating the “green” reconstruction and development of the Ukrainian energy sector. During discussions on opportunities for cooperation on the renewable energy projects and energy storage systems implementation at the KNESS stand, our experts met with developers and investors, equipment manufacturers and designers, representatives of logistics, legal, and banking services. We were happy to see new faces, reconnect with long-time partners, and receive warm greetings from those we have been collaborating with for many years.

At the event, Sergii Shakalov, CEO of KNESS, Ivan Vekirchyk, Co-founder of KNESS, Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply at KNESS, and Tetiana Petrovska, Commercial Director at KNESS, exchanged views with industry colleagues, partners, and customers, and participated in dedicated activities.

In particular, on the second day of the conference, Tetiana Petrovska spoke at the Solar & BESS Invest Forum UA. In her speech, Tetiana emphasized the importance of ESS not only in the current situation, but also for the future needs of the country.

“To meet all needs in Ukraine over the next five years, it is necessary to increase the number of energy storage projects. Their integration into the market will contribute to reducing and stabilizing electricity prices. At the same time, it should be taken into account that electricity consumption will grow over time. After all, Ukraine’s economic recovery includes the creation of new large consumer enterprises. Therefore, the country’s recovery plans in the context of energy should take into account future consumption volumes,” shared the Commercial Director of KNESS.

The speaker also provided detailed information about the business models used by the group of companies, providing the example of one of ESS’s investment projects, and outlined KNESS’s plans for the development of such projects.

“We are working on certain new business models for ESS use, and I hope that in early 2026 we will be able to offer attractive financial instruments not only to the largest local investors, but also to those entering the Ukrainian market. In any case, this will have a qualitative impact on the creation of an independent, sustainable, and reliable energy grid,” said the Commercial Director of KNESS.

СЕО of KNESS, Sergii Shakalov shared his vision for the development of Ukraine’s energy system and KNESS’s experience in implementing and managing ESS projects at the Energizing Recovery conference. Read the key highlights from his speed via the link.

We would like to thank our international industry colleagues for their words of support and cooperation during these difficult times for Ukraine. We would also like to thank the event organizers and participants for their openness to dialogue and willingness to work together to build a strong, modern, energy-democratic, carbon-neutral energy system in Ukraine!
