The event took place as part of the ReBuild Ukraine conference and exhibition, which is currently being held in Warsaw and brings together representatives of government, business, international organizations, and experts interested in strategic cooperation for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Ivan Vekirchyk spoke at a panel discussion entitled “The Future of Investments in Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Modernization,” dedicated to investments in the country’s reconstruction and modernization. During the discussions, special attention was paid to Ukraine’s energy strategy. As part of the discussion, the co-founder of KNESS emphasized the need to build a decentralized and sustainable energy system based on renewable energy sources:

“The future of Ukrainian energy lies in its decentralization, resilience to external risks, and maximization of renewable energy sources usage. We must not only restore what has been lost, but also build a system that is significantly more reliable and efficient than before. Our team at KNESS is already actively working on implementing solutions for this transformation.”

The speakers also outlined the complex current situation related to the destruction of energy infrastructure and emphasized the importance of maintaining stocks of key energy equipment. This is critically important for the rapid restoration of energy facilities.

It is also worth noting that a significant part of the discussion was devoted to Poland’s role in the current resistance and future reconstruction of Ukraine. The panel participants expressed their deep gratitude to the Polish people and businesses for their rapid response to the full-scale invasion and their ongoing comprehensive assistance.
