KNESS at the Ukrainian Investment Congress 2025

Ivan Vekirchyk, co-founder of KNESS, and Tetiana Petrovska, Chief Marketing Officer, appeared as speakers at the Ukrainian Investment Congress 2025. The congress brought together over 6,000 representatives of business, government, investors, architects, developers, and public figures. Participants focused on discussing the future economic development of Ukraine and shaping a modern investment climate.

During the panel discussion “Stimulating large businesses: financing and support for sustainable development,” Ivan Vekirchyk spoke about KNESS’s innovative experience. He noted that the company has been using AI since 2016, when it developed a software product for forecasting RES generation.

“In addition to product development, the team is actively implementing neural networks to automate business processes and perform routine tasks.” – highlighted Ivan Vekirchyk.

Among other things, the co-founder of KNESS also shared his expertise on the current state of energy development and outlined the trend towards consumer-side generation and scaling up ESS to balance the energy system. KNESS, for its part, is actively implementing such projects.

He also emphasized that Ukrainian business is already a key driver of the new energy development and outlined the problems faced by large and medium-sized businesses in the context of the lack of project financing opportunities for the implementation of large-scale solutions.

“Ukrainian businesses are already investing millions of euros in the reconstruction and development of the new energy system, demonstrating resilience even in wartime. And there is currently a trend toward investing not only in generation for own consumption, but also in innovative energy projects, such as energy storages for various segments of the electricity market”, – mentioned Ivan Vekirchyk.

Tetiana Petrovska provided more details on the technical features and development of energy storage systems (ESS). In her speech, she dwelled upon the company’s activities, key trends in the development of the energy storage system market in Europe, and presented KNESS’s partnership business models for the implementation of ESS.
