Searching for new energy storage solutions is one of the KNESS’s focus areas. We are interested not only in developing technologies but also in developing the energy storage market through active participation.
Tetiana Petrovska, Marketing Director, and Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply in KNESS, have visited Energy Storage Central Eastern Europe Summit held in Warsaw on September 26-27. KNESS representatives had the opportunity to explore international best practices and new visions of energy storage technologies, as well as analyze the specifics of market regulation in each country.
Among the issues discussed at the summit:
“The event brought together a significant number of manufacturers, developers, investors and experts in battery energy storage systems from more than 10 European countries. This was really valuable both in terms of experience exchange, excellent networking and discussion of the market particularities in each country. Considering the ambitious goals to increase the volume of renewable energy sources, it seems that energy storage facilities will be the key that will allow countries to further expand clean energy generation. In addition, it will help system operators to improve the reliability of electricity systems,” said Tetiana.
