Delegation of representatives of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to KNESS

KNESS welcomed representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine and two delegates from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands, whose focus is on supporting the energy sector in Ukraine in the short and long term.

During the meeting with the CEO of KNESS Sergii Shakalov, which was held in the format of exchanging views and sharing experience, the following was discussed:

• A vision of Ukraine’s energy system of the future
• The need to develop a roadmap for the strategic development of Ukraine’s energy sector
• Opportunities to overcome the challenges posed by russia’s military aggression
• Investment climate in the energy sector of Ukraine and its potential
• Active work of KNESS in the development of energy storage facilities for the ancillary services market
• Potential of geothermal, hydrogen and wind technologies in Ukraine

The guests also got acquainted with the operation of KNESS dispatch center and the specifics of remote control of renewable energy facilities with a total capacity of more than 1.4 GW, which is carried out using the PV.SCADA system developed by KNESS team.
