Company Visit to KNESS

The management of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and a representative of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development had a Company Visit to KNESS.

The visitors got acquainted with the activities of the KNESS Group and talked to Ievgen Didichenko, CBDO of KNESS, Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply of KNESS and Olga Kuzmenko, Director of RnD Center.

As part of the visit, we focused on the company’s key business areas and demonstrated the work of the Dispatch Center, which manages solar power plants with a capacity of more than 1 GW. One of the energy storage facilities by KNESS, which is designed to operate in the ancillary services market and balance the integrated power system of Ukraine, has also been presented.

“Currently, KNESS Group is actively working on the development and production of energy storage facilities with a focus on providing frequency containment reserve (FCR) and automatic frequency restoration reserve (aFRR) services. Our technological solution has a unique design with the integration of artificial intelligence-based control algorithms. Scaling up and developing ESS projects will be one of the keys to increasing the flexibility and reliability of Ukraine’s electricity system.” — mentioned Ievgen Didichenko.

Among other things, the participants discussed the company’s current projects and plans to implement small distribution systems for power supply to industrial parks in Vinnytsia region.
