A joint delegation of representatives of Switzerland and Vinnytsia City Council visited KNESS

A familiarization tour was held for Felix Baumann, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, who visited KNESS together with representatives of Vinnytsia City Council. Ivan Vekirchyk, co-founder of KNESS, Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply in KNESS, and Olga Kuzmenko, Director of the RnD Center, told the guests about the activities of the KNESS Group, its innovative component, and challenges in the energy sector. The meeting was focused on introducing KNESS’s innovative solutions for the energy sector and renewable energy in particular.

In addition to exchanging views, during the visit we managed to:

• demonstrate the production facilities of KNESS, where metal structures are manufactured for solar power plants in Ukraine and for export to European countries. 
• dive into the technical part of one of the energy storage facilities developed by KNESS RnD Center specialists to provide ancillary services and balancing services to the integrated power system of Ukraine.
• clearly compare how solar power plants in Latvia and Ukraine generate electricity depending on weather conditions thanks to the capabilities of the PV system. SCADA by KNESS which is the main tool of the Dispatch Center.
