ENHANCING THE COUNTRY'S DEFENSE CAPABILITIES AND CORPORATE VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT

Since the first day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, KNESS, like every conscious business, has been working together with everyone on both visible and invisible fronts to support and develop Ukraine’s economy. We realize that our main task of supporting the energy system and defense capabilities of the country depends on our work and the involvement of every single employee.

Part of the KNESS team is defending Ukraine within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and part of the team performs their functional duties on a daily basis to ensure economic stability, help others, and support volunteer initiatives.

KNESS, together with the company’s employees, as well as public and volunteer organizations and partners, provided millions of hryvnias to support defense capabilities.

We organized the procurement and delivery of drones, bulletproof vests, helmets, walkie talkies, cars and other necessary equipment to military units. We assist in the purchase and transportation of tactical equipment, surveillance equipment, medicines, personal protective equipment and other necessary goods within Ukraine and from abroad as well as humanitarian aid provision.

Our construction crews modernized the autonomous power supply systems of all hospitals in Vinnytsia, restored several bomb shelters, installed perimeter security systems for many facilities, and comprehensively repaired and restored power and lighting, warehouses, administrative premises of hubs, logistics centers for humanitarian needs with a total area of about 4 thousand m2. More than 130 KNESS employees took part in the project.

Several of our corporate centers for the temporary settlement of internally displaced persons have hosted almost 1000 people from different regions of Ukraine.

KNESS has a corporate volunteer movement in place, involving hundreds of employees who have self-organized to provide assistance in various areas.  

These include support for internally displaced persons, blood donation, search, procurement, and delivery of equipment, ammunition, and medication to our mobilized employees and military units.
