Serhii Kravchuk took part in a webinar on the settlements status with RES electricity producers

Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply in KNESS, took part in a webinar on the settlements status with RES electricity producers.

As part of the panel discussion, the speaker shared KNESS’s experience in selling electricity by RES producers on the wholesale market.

“KNESS was one of the first companies in the electricity market to offer a product for the renewable electricity sale on market terms, including participation in a balancing group to optimize the imbalances of its members. Currently, the KNESS Energy Balancing Group includes 30 renewable generation facilities of various types — solar, wind, small hydro with a total installed capacity of about 150 MW.

The sale of electricity by RES producers on market terms not only provides them with stable liquidity, but also has a very important regulatory effect, as it allows them to develop and implement the best practices of legislative and regulatory changes, taking into account domestic peculiarities,” said Serhii Kravchuk.
