KNESS shared its experience of AI implementation at Forbes Tech 2024

KNESS at Forbes Tech 2024. The event brought together innovation market leaders to discuss the main trends and challenges in technology. 

KNESS IT specialists shared their own experience in AI implementation, their developed software solutions for the energy industry based on neural networks, and new projects that are currently underway. Janush Podvysotskyi, Head of Information Systems Administration and Information Security Department in KNESS, joined the panel discussion: “ChatGPT is two years old. How have the use cases of Ukrainian companies evolved during this time?” The expert shared his advice on how small and medium-sized businesses that do not have large budgets but have an ambition to implement AI in their operations should proceed.

“First of all, it is important for businesses to decide on the direction of AI implementation. It is worth starting with simple ideas that can quickly yield results. Next, it is worth exploring the available free resources offered by large tech companies. This initial test makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness and potential of AI solutions before making major investments. It is also important to look for partners to share experience. For example, cooperation with companies or startups can provide access to already tested tools or ready-made cases that can help avoid mistakes and significantly accelerate the implementation of AI in your business” — mentioned Janush Podvysotskyi.

Most of the speakers discussing AI agreed that employee training plays a very important role on the way to AI implementation. It helps to deepen knowledge and develop internal AI ambassadors who can then share their experience with colleagues. Eventually, when the team sees the real benefits of new tools, they start actively applying them in their tasks.
