HR Days 2026 forum brought together leading industry experts and served as a platform for discussing current labor market challenges, sharing expertise, and professional networking. Lyudmyla Savyuk, HRD of KNESS, presented the company’s experience in transforming its corporate culture through transparency, leadership assessment, and development.
“The company’s scale created a need to transition from siloed HR practices to a unified system of decision-making, accountability, and collaboration. And we began a transformation process, embracing a culture of results and innovation” – Lyudmyla Savyuk shared during her speech.
How corporate values were transformed into an effective business operating model – key steps from an HR expert:
Values in the management system: Corporate values have been translated into measurable competencies. Corporate competencies are reflected in all stages of the HR cycle: hiring, onboarding, evaluation, development, and retention. Demonstrations of corporate competencies are assessed using the 360°/180° methodology. The company now evaluates not only performance (60%) but also team effectiveness (40%). The evaluation process is automated: from collecting responses to generating reports and individual development plans. Every employee and manager can access their assessment results, individual development plans, and all training materials for developing competencies on a single platform and complete the recommended training at a time that is convenient for them.
Openness as a management tool: implementing open dialogues – quarterly town hall meetings in a “Q&A with the CEO and top managers” format, as well as regular one-on-one meetings with teams to review progress, align goals, and track key performance indicators at all levels. An additional tool for engagement and transparency has been the implementation of systematic eNPS employee surveys, followed by corrective actions based on the suggestions and feedback provided by employees during the surveys. We regularly report on and highlight these measures through internal channels, as well as on an individual basis when necessary.
Business result: productivity per employee across three key areas increased from 18% to 500%.
The atmosphere of the event and the ideas discussed once again confirmed that today, the sustainability of any business directly depends on the maturity of its corporate culture and the clarity and transparency of the goals that leaders set for their team. As a people-centered employer, KNESS is committed to developing and retaining its team, because people are our greatest asset.
We would like to thank the organizers for the high quality of the event, and the participants for their insightful discussions and their courage in sharing not only their successes but also their mistakes. Continuing to refine our management approaches and invest in the growth and development of the KNESS team.
