KNESS has signed the Ukraine Business Compact 2023.
This agreement, initiated by the Ukraine Recovery Conference, calls on international businesses to support Ukraine and join the post-war recovery and reconstruction efforts. By investing and cooperating with Ukrainian businesses that are also signatories to the agreement, all participants will contribute to the recovery and sustainable growth of Ukraine’s economy.
“The model of rebuilding Ukraine should reflect the values that are fundamental to our culture. One of them is being aware of the responsibility for our current actions with respect to our descendants, as well as preventing ecocide and a protracted economic crisis. Ukrainians immediately joined forces to defeat the aggressor, and I am convinced that the association under the Ukraine Business Compact will help us win the battle for a sustainable future as well,” Ivan Vekirchyk, co-founder of KNESS.
The scale of destruction caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine will be felt for decades to come. Systematic work and cooperation between the public and business sectors are required to eliminate the damage consequences. In order to make efforts in the right direction – towards sustainable economic development focused on people’s welfare – we need to unite and act in a coordinated manner.
By signing the Ukraine Business Compact 2023 Principles for Ukraine’s long-term sustainable recovery, we continue to invest in the Ukrainian economy and innovate to accelerate the green transition.
Responsible implementation of these principles in line with international standards will help rebuild Ukraine’s strong and fair economy. We are proud to participate actively in this process, cooperating with Ukrainian businesses to develop our country’s economy and scientific and technical sectors!
