KNESS has implemented a rooftop solar power plant for a production facility on a general contracting basis. The peak capacity of the solar power plant is 501 kW, with an estimated average annual output of 550,981 kWh. This power plant will enable the company to reduce its CO2 emissions by 226 tons annually.
A distinctive feature of the implemented project is a customized solution for mounting photovoltaic modules. To install the solar power plant on the membrane surface of a pitched roof, KNESS developed and manufactured ballast-type metal structures specifically for this project. During construction, our specialists laid metal beams with ballast under the roof, and the modules themselves were attached to them from the outside.
Our specialists also assisted the company in documentary and technical preparation for work under the “self-production mechanism.”
KNESS implemented the rooftop solar station under EPC terms in partnership with UDP Renewables, which acted as investors. Continuing to develop and expand renewable energy in the country together.
