KNESS at the Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum 2025

Safe, affordable, green wind energy is an integral part of Ukraine’s reconstruction and its energy sector. At the Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum 2025, key experts and industry drivers — investors, developers, installers, and government officials — came together around this idea. KNESS was a partner of the event, and our experts were speakers at several discussion panels.

Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply in KNESS, took part in a discussion on “Structuring Business Agreements.” Participants discussed how to minimize risks and accelerate financing for renewable energy projects by structuring agreements between developers and investors.

“Today, KNESS Group offers the market a full cycle of electric power facilities development, including wind farms. Such development involves not only identifying the optimal site, obtaining all permits, constructing and maintaining the energy asset, but also guaranteeing the electricity off-take and services coming from the energy facility. Currently, sales and effective management are a guarantee of successful implementation of the development project and attracting project financing on favorable terms.” — Serhii Kravchuk shared his vision.

Tetiana Petrovska, Commercial Director in KNESS, gave a speech at a session dedicated to the operation and maintenance of wind farms. Representatives of relevant businesses discussed opportunities for optimizing and maximizing the efficiency of wind farms.

“In addition to developing wind farms, KNESS is also actively developing its wind farm maintenance services: KNESS’s O&M portfolio already includes wind farms with a total capacity of 5 MW. The KNESS service team has been internationally certified by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). This refers to competence in performing various types of technical tasks, as well as the availability of special equipment and tools. Wind energy is one of the key areas of energy system transformation. The sustainability of this process is impossible without maneuvering capacities, and it is energy storage systems that open up the possibility of combining wind and solar power plants into flexible and profitable solutions. At the same time, comprehensive service — from GWO-certified personnel to round-the-clock monitoring and comprehensive technical support — guarantees the efficient and uninterrupted operation of such facilities.” — Tetiana Petrovska shared during the discussion.

We would like to thank our industry colleagues and event organizers, the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA), for creating a professional environment for the active development of environmentally friendly, renewable energy in our country.
