KNESS participated in Ukraine’s Energy & Climate Investment Roadshow in Stockholm, Sweden. Together with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the DiXi Group analytical center, and the Green Transition Office, investment opportunities for the reconstruction and green transformation of Ukraine’s economy were outlined.

KNESS’s experience and expertise in the development, implementation, and management of energy storage systems (ESS) and wind farms was presented by Olena Klimova, Stakeholder Relations Manager. The expert also shared KNESS’s plans for the development of energy projects and gave a detailed description of the business models used by the group of companies, using one of the ESS investment projects as a case study.

“The portfolio of ESS projects with a total capacity of over 100 MWh, successfully implemented by KNESS, already provides ancillary services to support the Ukrainian power system. And we continue to develop new projects: we have over 400 MW of wind farms and over 700 MW of energy storages in the development process. We believe that the combination of WPP and ESS is the key to decarbonizing the energy sector in Ukraine. Therefore, we are deepening our expertise in these areas, establishing new partnerships, and jointly implementing comprehensive, innovative solutions to accelerate the energy transition,” Olena shared the key message of her speech.

We would like to thank DiXi Group and the Green Transition Office for the opportunity to exchange international experience with colleagues and partners from Sweden. We continue to rebuild a modern, energy-independent Ukraine with a sustainable and carbon-neutral energy system.
