KNESS at the event “One Voice: ESG UNI

“For KNESS, ESG is not just a concept. It is a way of mindset and one of the principles of business development,” is the overarching message from Oksana Khlyupina, Head of Corporate Finance in KNESS, during her speech at the “One Voice: ESG UNITED” event.

The event brought together ESG experts and practitioners in business, the public and government sectors to discuss a strategic vision for building a resilient, innovative and sustainable Ukraine.

In her speech, Oksana Khlyupina highlighted the key areas of KNESS’s activities and shared case studies of important synergistic projects that foster investment in a sustainable and secure future for everyone. In particular, the speaker dwelled upon the following:

• development of energy storages as part of the transformation of energy systems towards reliability and carbon neutrality;
• implementation of renewable energy projects in the regions to increase the share of clean energy in Ukraine’s energy system;
• introduction of innovations and research into long-term energy storage technologies to accelerate the energy transition;
• implementation of a comprehensive support and reintegration program for veterans in technical and managerial fields.

The experience exchange, presentation of successful cases, and openness to cooperation contribute to the formation of a modern, effective, and sustainable approach to development in Ukraine that is in line with the best international practices. Business can and must be responsible, innovative, and focused on long-term positive impact.
