KNESS at the business forum “Trends of 2025: People. Energy. Economy”

Ivan Vekirchyk, co-founder of KNESS Group joined the discussion “Economy without Illusions” at the annual business forum “Trends 2025: People. Energy. Economy”. The event became a networking platform where entrepreneurs discussed current issues, changes and vectors to move in the coming years.

In his speech Ivan Vekirchyk focused on key trends in the energy sector. He emphasized that Ukraine’s energy system is undergoing a transformation: distributed generation is actively developing and a gradual transition to a decentralized system of electricity production and consumption is underway.

“Currently, there is significant business interest in the construction of solar power plants and energy storage facilities. This trend is driven by rising electricity prices, attacks on energy infrastructure, and the introduction of active consumer and aggregator models. Accordingly, businesses are installing their own renewable energy sources to compensate for their electricity needs. Such projects pay back in a fairly short time” — mentioned Ivan Vekirchyk.

The transformation process has not bypassed the labor market. The event noted that there is a reduction in the period of adaptation of employees to new jobs. It is also expected that in 2025, employees will prefer a stable understanding of the direction, focus specialization and focus on one task. Experts noted that this was the result of working in a multitasking environment during 2024.

Special attention was paid to the topic of artificial intelligence. The participants came to a common conclusion that AI remains an important tool for improving business efficiency and will be relevant in the future.

The event also featured forecasts for the 2025 scenario, sharing experiences, vision of strategies, and discussing all the challenges that entrepreneurs face today.
