100th IT HACKATHON on intellectual capital development was held at KNESS

KNESS warmly welcomed the participants of the first Ukrainian hackathon for the development of intellectual capital – 100 IT Hackathon. 15 teams from all over Ukraine, accompanied by mentors, transformed their ideas into IT solutions for the educational sector. KNESS joined the event as a partner and was happy to host the guests.

It was a very active and intense three days. The participants were developing new creative educational solutions. The teams discussed many ideas, coded, prepared pitches… All in order to make sure that the jury liked their presentation. And to make our young guests feel as comfortable as possible, the KNESS hospitality group took care of the coziness and productive atmosphere. 

As a result, all participants developed interesting, meaningful solutions and thoroughly  prepared for their presentations. Some of the projects even included a solution using robotics. 

The participants’ solutions were evaluated by an expert jury, which consisted of:

• Ivan Vekirchyk, Co-founder of KNESS Group,
• Dariia Nyshporska, Executive Director of the Vinnytsia IT Association, a Technological Association of Central Ukraine,
• Oleksandr Kaleniuk, Head of the Business Center of Vinnytsia Branch of Podilskyi RD of UKRSIBBANK,
• Andrii Stakhov, Head of Vinnytsia Investment Club,
• Yurii Klymenko, Head of Vinnytsia Automation and Instrumentation Cluster,
• Andrii Kavunets, Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.

According to the jury, the winners in the first category were a team of schoolchildren called the “Titans” with the project “21 Days of Self-Development Challenge.”

The winner in the second category was the “Teammate” team, which was mentored by Janush Podvysotskyi, Head of the Information and Telecommunication Systems Administration and Information Security Department in KNESS. The students won first place for the NEW Start project, a tool to simplify the process of finding a job, training courses, etc. for veterans and people with disabilities.

I am convinced that each of you will make a significant contribution to the development of our country. It is the ability to work effectively in a team that leads to a global and successful result. Indeed, the atmosphere of the Hackathon was filled with energy and a desire to create.
