KNESS at Intersolar Europe 2026

It has already become a tradition: KNESSteam attending Intersolar Europe. This large-scale industry event brought together more than 85,000 representatives from the RES, ESS, and other energy sectors from around the world. Events like this are always about networking, gaining insights, and testing hypotheses about how the global energy sector will transform over the next few years.

On partnerships for energy transformation

During the exhibition, we visited the stands of our strategic partners, particularly HiTHIUM — one of the world’s leading companies in the development and manufacture of energy storage systems (ESS) — as well as Sineng Electric and other manufacturers with whom we have been collaborating for many years. We discussed the results of our collaboration and the latest technological innovations on the market, and, naturally, attended presentations of new products.

On trends in the renewable energy and energy storage markets

  • Ecosystem-based approach is one of the key trends. Last year, integrated systems were a rare novelty. Nowadays, it is not enough to simply ensure the quality of an individual product. The winner is the one who can offer an integrated, flexible, and sustainable energy solution. For example, for microgrids, virtual power plants (VPPs), and the seamless integration of various generation and consumption sources into a single system.
  • While energy storage systems were previously viewed on the European market primarily as a supplement to solar power generation, they are now a full-fledged energy asset that provides flexibility and stability to the power grid, while also opening up new financial opportunities for businesses.
  • Today, the volume of energy generation is less important than the ability to manage it. Intelligent energy management systems (EMS) and software solutions for commercial management are becoming one of the key factors in the energy projects effectiveness. Most manufacturers in the C&I (commercial and industrial) segment already offer their own EMS or integrate partner systems, increasingly leveraging AI technologies for forecasting, automation, and rapid adaptation of algorithms for energy facilities.
  • Turnkey automation: solutions are becoming more autonomous, significantly minimizing the human factor.

The energy sector is changing very rapidly. And today, it is being driven by those who know how to combine innovative technologies with flexible financial models into a single system.

We would like to thank all our partners for the productive meetings and discussions at Intersolar Europe 2026. See you next year!
