Ensure timely metrological verification of meters and measuring transformers

KNESS has expanded its expertise in providing commercial electricity metering services. In particular, our team organizes metrological verification of electricity meters, as well as current and voltage measuring transformers at enterprises and renewable energy facilities. We cooperate with accredited mobile metrological laboratories to carry out the verification in a timely manner, in a short time and without queues. We also have all the necessary equipment to measure the loads of secondary circuits of current and voltage measuring transformers. It is worth reminding that such a check of transformer characteristics is mandatory in accordance with the Commercial Electricity Metering Code and must be performed every three years. 

By organizing the scheduled verification of electricity meters, KNESS assumes the following responsibilities:

1. Communication between the distribution system operator, metrological laboratory engineers and engineers of the RES enterprise/energy facility
2. Coordination with all parties of the time and date of verification, as well as the duration of the procedure (in particular, for planning production processes at the enterprise or adjusting forecast data and warning of power plant generation restrictions)
3. Support of laboratory engineers at the operating site for conducting verification
4. Verification and transfer of certificates confirming the correct operation of measuring equipment with the appropriate accuracy class
