On 12 June, Bilozerka PV Power Plant with the installed capacity of 9 MW was formally opened in Bilozerka district in Kherson region.
“Opening Bilozerka Solar Power Plant is a very important step to provide the national energy self-sufficiency of Ukraine,” said Andrii Gordieiev, Head of the Kherson Region State Administration.
The power plant occupies an area of 19.9 ha, will generate over 14 mln kW*h of power energy annually, and reduce the amount of CO2 emissions by 13.9 thous. tons/year.
