From Idea to Product: implemented solutions by KNESS RnD Center

Energy storage system
1 MW energy storage system (lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology) has been developed, designed, and manufactured. Based on this solution, a project with a capacity over 10 MW has been implemented and is now operating in Ukraine’s ancillary services market.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)
Software and hardware complex for managing energy storage systems. The system takes into account all equipment operating modes and is integrated with the trading platforms of JSC “Market Operator” and the market management system. This allows trading operations for an ESS to be generated from a single interface and automatically executed according to specified parameters.
Versatile mounting structures for ground-based and rooftop power plants
More than 1 GW of solar power plants in Ukraine, Poland and Latvia have been constructed using the mounting structures designed and manufactured by KNESS.
PV.SCADA
Dispatch center of KNESS Service uses PV.SCADA as the main tool to manage more than 2,5 GW of solar power plants located in Ukraine and Latvia. The system is being constantly upgraded to meet the latest needs.

Forecasting from 2 hours to 7 days ahead, using artificial intelligence (AI training for every single plant)
Power plant controlLer
PV. Protocol Convertor: getting data of all equipment (cycle from 1 to 10 seconds, depending on the available infrastructure);
PV. Plant Controller: setting the parameters for the inverter: provides active power control, regulation of reactive power and voltage at the power output point;
DataLogger: local data storage during the last 2 months (with subsequent data synchronization in case of Internet network failure at the PV plant).
