



Members of the Ukrainian Platform “Women in Business” visited KNESS to get some advice on running a business.
The entrepreneurs had a talk with KNESS co-founder Ivan Vekirchyk. Key messages that were discussed:
At the meeting Serhii Kravchuk, Director of Electricity Trading and Supply in KNESS, shared how to integrate clean energy into business and what opportunities the use of the active consumer model and the self-production mechanism opens up. In addition, the participants visited the KNESS dispatch center. Viktor Terletskyi, Technical Director of O&M in KNESS, outlined the peculiarities of managing solar power plants with a total capacity of more than 1 GW.
“We believe that there is no such thing as ‘women’s’ or ‘men’s’ business. In KNESS women hold 28% of corporate board seats. This is a pretty good percentage, comparing to the average percentage in the European Union. When a person who wants to succeed starts a business, he or she will definitely succeed, despite the obstacles that come along the way. Our mission is to provide development opportunities for each one. Moreover, we are happy to share our experience and advice with the business community,” said Ivan Vekirchyk.
