Employers should be prepared for the reintegration of veterans into the workforce. For this purpose, already today it is important to start:
These tasks are a priority today not only for the government and public organizations, but also for private businesses. Cooperation and a comprehensive approach to the adaptation of society are crucial for a quality result.
KNESS is already implementing a reintegration program for veterans returning to the team after being discharged from military service. That is why our project’s working group took part in a panel discussion on “Reintegration of veterans into work processes.” Representatives of the Department of Economics and Investment, Veteran Hub, Vinnytsia Veteran Development Center, Prometheus Pain Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Vinnytsia Regional Employment Center, and representatives of leading companies in various fields gathered at the City of Contents HUB in Vinnytsia to share experiences and discuss best practices.
We aligned the planned goals, noted down where to look for opportunities for support and advice on working with veterans, exchanged contacts with various institutions and continue to work on developing an inclusive environment for each one of them.
We are looking forward to our Defenders’ return and getting ready to welcome them.
