Recently, KNESS hosted the Energy Forum, which brought together Rotary Club members from Ukraine and abroad.
Among the main topics for discussion were implemented and planned projects for energy sustainability of communities in the context of war and crisis in the Ukrainian energy sector. In particular, what real steps have been taken to provide hospitals, schools, and kindergartens with backup power sources. Solutions were also explored to help businesses withstand energy challenges, along with plans for joint long-term energy conservation projects.
During the event, KNESS co-founder and President of the Rotary Club “Vinnytsia Initiative” Ivan Vekirchyk gave a detailed presentation on KNESS’s activities, energy-efficient solutions based on RES and ESS, and presented a pool of implemented projects of energy storage facilities to support the energy system.
“Current realities require both strategic and rapid decisions for the energy sustainability of our country. KNESS is constantly working on business models for enterprises and innovations to support the Ukrainian energy system. Also, as part of the Rotary Club “Vinnytsia Initiative,” we continue to provide critical infrastructure facilities with backup power sources, support social projects, and work to support the country’s defense capabilities.” – highlighted Ivan Vekirchyk.
KNESS is always open to initiatives aimed at community development and the implementation of socially significant projects that will help build a sustainable energy future.
