KNESS Baltic team is currently implementing a large-scale project in Latvia for the construction of 55 MWh of energy storage systems within the perimeter of solar power plants (co-location).
The team is currently in the process of installing energy storage systems at six SPPs, with a total capacity of 55 MW. The projects utilize storage systems with the capacities of 5.016 MWh and 4.18 MWh from the global manufacturer HiTHIUM, with which KNESS has a distribution partnership. The ESS configuration was selected individually for each facility, taking into account the specific operating model within the electricity market.
The “transformation” of solar power plants into hybrid facilities is carried out under an EPC contract, which entails responsibility for the entire project lifecycle: from design to grid connection.
The investor behind these energy projects is Volterra Energy Group – our strategic partner for many years. We thank our partner for the trust and our win-win collaboration in developing modern energy infrastructure in the region.
